The Way I See Things

Ranunculus

A wet, dreary and cold day was cheered up enormously by the arrival back in the Shire of both Offspring, who are home together sans partners or children for the first time in several years, and seemingly are intending to stay through into next week. Much as we love the extended family it was a joy to have our nuclear foursome back together, even if it was a bit unnerving to realise that in some ways the children are now more grown-up than R and me, and there were times when I strongly suspected that I was being managed. Still, there were many hugs, much banter, and lots of laughter across the day.
