Hand knitted wrist warmers,

The Feast Day of Saint Carpus.

It is a sunny evening now at 5:30pm but most of today was very cold and rainy. 6c.
This morning Paul drove to stay with friends for a few days, so that he can visit his father at the hospital in Surrey He phoned me when he arrived
I am getting on with tasks here at home.
After doing the housework, I am watching Ben Fogle, New Lives in the Wild. The first episode was about a married couple from Ohio who went to live and share the Gospel in Mongolia. It was interesting and educational but they eat horse flesh because that is what the Mongolians do.
The second episode is set in the Appalachian Mountains and Ben is learning about the life of a forest dweller. I enjoy discovering about how other people live off grid. It takes courage and resilience.
I am knitting wrist warmers for the Church fund raising for the Bell tower to be repaired. It is expensive to hire the scaffolding to remove dry rot in the bell tower.
Thank you for visiting my site and have a great evening.
