Life is a Challenge!

TINY TUESDAY IN OUR GARDEN

Thought I would have a wander around the garden whilst Mr. HCB is finishing off the job he started yesterday - see extra - and this beautiful little clematis caught my eye;  I believe it’s Mayleen, but can’t be sure.  Many of the flowers in our garden are my favourite colour, and this one is no exception.

I got the camera ready to take a close up and then realised that two little eyes were looking at me - so today you have two for one - a close up of the middle of this nameless clematis and two knots in the fence, which look just like eyes - great pareidolia and I know one of my Blip friends will be delighted to see them!

The sun is shining today and the wind, although fairly strong, isn’t quite as chilly as it has been - so Mr. HCB is enjoying being out there, although I am keeping my eye on him because sometimes he can overdo it and stay out for too long.

Guess that’s what marriage is all about - making sure that the other person is OK - and vice versa - he has certainly done his share of keeping his eye on me in the last year!

All the plants we bought last week are now in situ in the long border and are looking good - and each day, we seem to find something new coming into bloom, which is great.

When we chatted the other day about the garden being too big for us to manage together - especially since my back surgery - Mr. HCB said he couldn’t imagine not having a garden so I guess we either let it go completely wild, or just get a gardener in - but I know we will manage somehow.

Enjoy the sunshine, if you have it - and leave the housework - it will still be there tomorrow - I’m going back out into the garden now with two cups of coffee - so at least Mr. HCB will have a break!
