For a Good Feed

Thirty odd years ago my own children would have been doing the very same job of feeding the ducks at this location.

We are on the bank of the Sulby River at The Garey and there is a ford across the river to the left next to where I am standing. In the summer months our children enjoyed paddling in the river here. We used to live nearby.

My job today was to go along the lane to the house at the end and feed the chickens whilst the owners are away.

Whilst doing this I was able to ponder how little things had changed around here.
