Pale Tulips

They say tulips should be lifted and dried after flowering here. These were planted in November 2010 and survived that terrible winter. After flowering last April they were ignored - till now!

I'm still experimenting with B&W, not a bad thing as its forcing me to remember the principles of photography I was taught a long time by the ex-navy photographer at work, thank-you, Mr Simpson.
