Life on the Good Intent

Falling in Love

I spent much of this afternoon in a complete swoon and fell deeply in love, hence the subject of my blip, une pomme d'amour, love apple or tomato.

I was whirled through the world of bodies, lenses and filters by S, a photographer who works Saturdays in a major camera retailer near the statue of the late specky politician, DD.
Thanks to S, I emerged into the street with my new love and drove home in frenzied anticipation.
Our union was delayed by finding an elderly man unconscious on the pavement on our village main street. To those drivers who objected to my emergency stop and skewy parking - I hope you and your loved ones are never in the need of a good Samaritan. A small band of us did stop and an ambulance arrived, I left the paramedics to do their job after I had explained what little I knew. I hope he will be all right.
The light was not great by then and it took an eternity and broken fingernails to release my new love from all of the packaging.
We went into the garden and his performance was stunning but it started to drizzle, so I brought him indoors.
I hope this is the beginning of a long lasting love affair, not just a blip fling.
