Our life in boxes in a lorry.
Moved house today. Finally! After putting the house on the market near the start of last August, completion day has arrived. And the sun came out which was a blessing after all the rain we've had recently.
The removal company took the stress out of it and we were out by 11:45am.
Was sad to leave my lovely little 1-bed house - my first house. Was strange to watch the contents disappearing off round the corner in a lorry.
However, we were not homeless for long as we had the call at midday to say the keys could be released. And we're in to our 3-bed house with garden and driveway... and we're feeling very excited!
I tried very hard to sit down and let everything happen around me but have finished the day in quite some pain. Those of you who stop by my journal regularly will know about my spinal surgery in March, of which I have many lasting effects and issues.
Mum and Dad came over for fish and chips tonight but they noticed how tired N and I both are and left soon afterwards. Time for sleep... in our new house!
