All washed up???

What an improvement on last year's birthday when I spent it in hospital.

It's my 40th birthday today and we spent the morning by the seaside in Broadstairs, having spent the night in a lovely B&B called Bleak House. It was much colder and more blowy than yesterday as you can see from the wave photos!

This evening was spent round at my parents' for a Thai takeaway meal with them and my brother, his partner and my niece. It was a combined Mother's Day and birthday dinner. Lovely.

And to all the ladies that, like me, are not mothers for whatever reason, Happy Mother's Day to you too.... We are special too!
