Biodegradable Plant Pots

I planted sunflower seeds today. I hope they sprout and grow nicely in their biodegradable plant pots. A colleague at school was telling me about newspaper plant pots to grow seeds in and I was inspired... we'll see what happens.

Do any other blippers have experience of these? Apparently you can just plant the whole thing into the ground once the roots are established.
