Toddler Level 5

Now we have done 10 swimming levels of the Turtle Tots programme. Only 3 levels left!

Today was the last lesson with the teacher we’ve had since the start, when L was only 3 months old. She’s taking more of a back seat in her business and the other teacher (whom we like, but she’s no Kate) is taking over our lessons.

Not too many new skills this level apart from L is gaining in confidence during the assisted swims, kicking and moving her arms at the same time. She also is more adept at jumping forward when she jumps in - I’m marginally less terrified that she’s going to bump her head on the side as she goes in.

She still loves every second of her swimming lessons and it’s still my favourite half an hour of the week.
