Off to the Hoticultural --

I had taken what I thought might be my blip for today - a simple lunch.

I had managed to get some pork pies from our village butcher Gary, (usually if you are not quick off the mark on a Saturday they are all gone by 11.00am) and I was going to wax lyrical about how tasty they were and could be favourably compared with the famous 'Skipton' pies, which if you are from Yorkshire (or Lancashire) you may well be aware of.
They weren't exactly warm but the jelly had only just started to set and to add to the perfection they were accompanied by Chris' newly picked tomatoes and his green tomato chutney of last years vintage (this years not being mature yet.)

Well I can assure you it was truly delicious and I'm sure your mouth is watering at the picture you cannot see. After lunch Chris said 'I am just going to take my Fuchsia up to the Horicultural' (this is our village Horticultural show which takes place tomorrow). When I went out side - this is what I saw! I just had to blip this instead.
His Standard Fuchsia is so big he is having to transport it in a wheelbarrow. To top it all this was only about 10 minutes ago and it started raining heavily 5 minutes ago!

For the love of Fuchsias!
