Let them eat cake!

I've finished the marking!!!!

A suitable celebration was to go to my friends cake day. Her granddaughter died of Leukaemia a few years ago and as she is a wonderful cook she bakes and sells cakes for a foundation that raises funds into research for this illness.

These are some of the cakes before the hungry hordes arrived i Dot's gorgeous dining room. I was in charge of taking the money and raffle but managed to eat quite a bit of cake too.

Lovely get together with the ladies again as here last week.
