North Pier ...

I'm now off work for a well earned few days.

Decided on a trip to the coast this morning as I've not really tried coastal shots. Tynemouth, to be precise. King Edward's Bay and Tynemouth Longsands are beautiful beaches and very popular with surfers. It is actually a championship venue. There were a few out today too.

However, I decided on this shot of the North Pier. The chap in front was also taking photographs but he was either mad or stupid, or both maybe, and decided to risk getting a soaking. I stayed put!

There will definitely be more Tynemouth shots as the opportunities were endless ...
