FRACTIONS

Slow start this morning.
Got to school just on time.

The lack of playtime; due to this horrendous weather...is making the children and the staff climb the wall. Several of our more vulnerable children "kicked off" big time.
My afternoon lesson with one of our most challenging autistic children consisted of holding him until the temper subsided and calming him so he didn't harm himself, then allowing him to play with bubbles for half an hour!!! Still sometimes we have no choice but to follow his lead. However I did have a great fractions lesson with 2 others....they were brilliant and it turned out to be an edible lesson too!!!
