Simon & Laura's view

A damp day today and Mick headed off home. As the forecast for tomorrow was better we took up Simon's invitation to stay on. He headed up north back to the Rubha Hunish area to take a few photos of cliffs for Mick - and got well soaked in the process while we headed off towards Neist and Meanish, trying to make the best of the conditions!

That evening the rain stopped, the clouds cleared a little and I pointed the camera out of Simon's lounge window. It's a rather fine view that Simon used to share with Laura until she lost her long battle with cancer earlier this year. We never actually met Laura, but that evening with Simon's reminiscences and Mrs L's of her friend Alison I found myself being quite quiet and feeling quite emotional. RIP Laura.
