Feeding the Gulls

So having been invited up to Roy Bridge where Robert & Buachaille had rented a house we thought we might as well tick off a few birds en-route. Snow Buntings & Crested Tits in the Cairngorms - no luck. Ring-billed Gull in Dingwall - no luck, but finally we struck lucky with an American Wigeon at Udale Bay which is the subject of RCB's blip. We returned again via Dingwall, but despite me feeding the gulls some quality wholemeal bread the Ring-billed Gull still didn't show.

That evening we all met up in the Roy Bridge Bar which by coincidence was hosting a pub quiz. Second place in the main quiz and winning the "Landlord's Round" brought in a tidy sum for tomorrow's drinks kitty.
