Having just dropped us off on our first leg north from Stevenage.
I thought my eye was becoming less sensitive to light, but when I started to read my book I managed a page and a half before having to give up. Spent most of the remainder of the journey with my eyes closed, dozing a little. By the time we reached Perth I wasn't feeling great but okay to walk to the flat, mind you when Mrs L's carrying a rucksac and carrier bag and you can't keep up with her, you know something's not right.
Retreated to bed and darkened room, but still developed the world's worst headache - really nobody in the history of the world has ever had a headache this bad. Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, a bit of a sleep and as this is a backblip I can tell you that at 4am I woke feeling an awful lot better. Just checking out The Guinness Book of World Records now to send in my claim for the world's worst headache.
