I pass this barn twice a day during the week and have photographed it before. Though it took me until this morning to stop and get a photo from this angle.

But I was too late. The mass of purple thistle heads in front of the barn have gone to seed. I'll make a note for next year, and a week earlier. That's if the barn is still standing then.

Oh dear, am I already planning blips that far into the future?!
