Socks

With the snow forecast and threatening to close roads in the north of Scotland, friends who were going to be heading south tomorrow decided to bale out today. She was supposed to be working in the craft shop this afternoon, so I did her shift for her. Took the opportunity to blip some of my socks, which are for sale in the shop.

The website is going to be shown to the shop committee next week and if they are happy, then we will be able to let it lose on the public! Quite scary, but it has been fun too. It is very tricky being part of a co-operative, everything you do having to be put past everyone else, and learning to compromise on things, give and take, and bow to the majority decision.

Sleety and snowy showers this afternoon, and very chilly. The greenhouse heater is on in a vain attempt to convince the poor little seedlings to stay alive! Several trays have just germinated in the last couple of days, but I fear they are doomed!
