Safe

This may look a mess but I can assure you it is a safe set up - and it was well tested today. I'm sure Longshanks will backblip his version of the day soon. After the tyrollean and stack climb documented by Can Carrier we went on to Hard Severe (more my grade) which turned into yet another HVS, and tyhis time the winching didn't work cos the rope jammed in a crack with a cam. Thus the winchman thought he had me tight and i was making no effort whereas I was lifting myself, making the move then not having a tight rope to make the next. When I fell off it was freeing the rope thus allowing some movement upwards to be taken in, then jamming again. Eventually I got the message through and another rope was dropped to allow me to escape the tide.
