Lapwing

Took a trip down to RSPB Vane Farm, they've done a lot of physical work to the reserve and when I visited earlier in the year it looked more like a building site than a bird reserve. Today it looked a lot more like a bird reserve, but the lack of screening on the approaches to the new hides ensures there's not a lot of birdlife in the vicinity of the hides, hopefully this will be resolved.

Fortunately there are areas where there is sufficient screening, today's Lapwing being taken from one. Today's Lapwing also informed me that it's no longer RSPB Vane Farm, but now RSPB Loch Leven nature reserve. It's all part of the makeover.
