Mono Monday : Shadows

Here is my early Mono Monday, taken just after the Baltimore - Detroit baseball game finished.

I've had this little chap for many years and thought he'd make an interesting shadow for today's MM challenge.

Back in 1066 King Harold Godwinson defeated the Norwegian force led by King Harald Hardrada at the Battle of Stamford Bridge (25th Sept). He then went to Hastings to get one in the eye from William, the Duke of Normandy (14th Oct). We're about midway between these two dates.

Hardrada was considered the last of the great viking kings and his death left the vikings a shadow of their former selves... ;-)
