Graduation at Gateway!

This afternoon my son Adrian attended the so-called pinning ceremony (a small-scale graduation event) for his two-year program in radiation therapy; it's in the Allied Health Division of Gateway Community College in New Haven, Connecticut. He's here with his girl friend Heather, after the event.

It's the third such demanding two year program Adrian has completed in the past eight years, each with high honors--after barely graduating from high school and then playing in a band for several years. He started with computer programming, followed with radiology, then worked for two years before embarking on the therapy program--a quintessential late bloomer! Adrian has already started a new job as a therapist. Imagine his father's pride!

It's the second graduation we've attended in two days.
