Sleepover!

Violet spent Saturday night with us so that her Mummy could go out for a friend's birthday and also get a break from the stresses and strains of single parenting for a while.
Here is Violet in the morning looking especially sweet in my favourite of her large collection of hair clips: the extra pic is taken at the end of the day in the middle of a session with the maracas, where she has now acquired a tiara headband instead of the pompom.   She has a great sense of rhythm and used them shake, bang together and drum, all done with tremendous energy and style! Not a brilliant pic to be sure, but it was hard to capture anything that wasn't a complete blur!
