Hello 2012!

The first day of the new year dawned gorgeous this morning! Warm beautiful blue skies with soft wispy clouds. I didn't celebrate last night as I'm fighting a darn cold. ugh. I was in bed by 9 and asleep by 10:30. Nope, I wasn't the life of the party! Felt a tad better today, still coughing. Decided to visit Stanley to say Happy New Year on our way to the office. He was waaaaaay across the lake but came swimming over when he heard his name. I gave him a few bites of bread then he decided to shine himself up and proceeded to flip and dive, splished and splashed and even danced on the lake! Such a handsome guy!! I've decided to do theme weeks and as you can see this week is going to be birds. I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years Eve and has an even better new year!!
