Rocks on the Beach
We returned to the East Lothian coast, so that Madame could look for sea-glass for a jewellery project. I did my bit of beach combing, but the attractions of the landscape eventually took my attention. The Bass Rock features just off shore, to the right the little tower is by St Baldred's Boat and on the distant horizon is the Isle of May. I don't think I've ever seen anywhere with such a variety of rock colours, shapes and textures. Despite the colours, black-and-white feels right for this. I think this one probably does benefit from being viewed large.
