Basking Heron

Usual Thursday walk around St Ives this morning - caught this heron basking in a shaft of sunlight on Coppice Pond

Later in the morning - answering a knock on the door - saw the smiling faces of Jeanneb53 and Wendles56 - asking if I was playing out. Walked along the footpaths to Coldspring Mill - for W to replenish her wool supplies - and coffee and toasted teacakes in the cafe

Opening night of 'Allo 'Allo this evening - hope the actors and crew will be basking in glory after the performance
