Seeing where you're going...
The plywood windows suggest that the skipper of this vessel doesn't feelt he need to be able to see where he's going...
I can not only see where I'm going, but I can now share the fact that next year I will be doing a Saltire Fellowship! 16 weeks of study at a top US business school followed by two 12-week "Internships" with top global companies - I'm so excited! According to the Scotsman it's our version of the Apprentice... It was the final assessment centre for this that had me mysteriously working late at Dakota in Glasgow... Anyway, I told my boss yesterday (thanks to all those who wished me luck yesterday without knowing what I was doing!) so I no longer have to keep quiet about it! Even better, he's happy for me to keep working until Christmas which keeps the bank manager happy!
On a completely different note, if you're around Edinburgh and you like musicals, go and see Our House at the Playhouse. We saw it in London a few years back and loved it, and my wife took me to see the touring production last night. IT WAS BRILLIANT. Often we are disappointed by the quality of touring productions, but this one was TOP NOTCH!!!! Thanks mrs cyclops!!!
P.S. Thanks to the blip gods for re-instating my broken camera blip. It seems my light tent shot of my camera was so good they thought I'd nicked it from the manufacturers website! Not bad for a first attempt with this technique!
