Waiting for Spring

Apparently this is a lawn, with grass. In the four weeks we've been here there has been at least a foot of snow covering it. In fact I only realised today (there's been a little melting in the sun today) that this was a chair rather than a signpost (I could only see the back part until today).

I read last night that spring doesn't arrive here until April, so it's going to be a while until this park bench is usable. I'm looking forward to being outside without worrying about frostbite.
