Captain Hook

We met some of the guys from Captain Hooks dive center at a dive show in the UK a year or so back, and we thought the diving sounded great. They are based in Marathon which is about an hours drive up from Key West, but we thought we dive with them for a few days. The drive really isn't a chore with gorgeous scenery, bright sunlight, and the much-missed company of MrsCyclops.

Oh boy, was it worth it. First off the folks at the dive center were all great - friendly, welcoming, helpful - all the things we didn't really get at the center in Key West. Secodnly the diving was fantastic. Better visibility, much better corals, more fish... It was really top notch!

This is a glimpse of the dense fish life you could see on top of the reef by just easing up over the edge so as not to startle them!
