Arriving in Dahab

Today we arrived in Dahab in Egypt for the start of a weeks holiday. After throwing our bags into our room we headed out to find food and beer, but we found something even better - friends! This was our fourth visit to Dahab and our third to Red Sea Relax, and there were some familiar faces sitting outside the dive center having a beer. So of course we had to join them.

Starting on the left, we met R last year and he has his own diving business called Dive The Gap which arranges all inclusive trips aimed at gap year students - flights, accomodation and dive training from beginner up to instructor! R lead most of our dives last year and we had a great time.

We met J&J two years ago when J was leading a lot of our dives (another outstanding trip!) and the other J was a DiveMaster intern. They had only just started seeing each other, and it's lovely to see them still together - they have travelled the highlights of the diving world since we last saw them in asia and indonesia!

We also know the final J from last year, although I don't think we dived with him until this trip - he's another instructor and divemaster.

It's just over a year since our last visit and it's great to be back!
