Seahorse
<back blip>
I have done about 250 dives in different parts of the world including Thailand, Scotland, Egypt, Malta, Mexico, Lanzarote, Florida and California. In most of these places it is theoretically possible to see seahorses, but they are very rare and until today I have never been lucky enough to see one.
We hear from a few people that there were seahorses in Bannerfish Bay so we decided on our last day to have a third dive (we usually just do two) and go looking for them. Our guide found us not just one but 3! Outstanding.
I think this one is a male, and the extended belly being his "brood pouch" where eggs laid there by the female mature.
