BBQ 2010

For quite a few years now we've had a summer BBQ as a way of catching up with friends. We usually have it around the time of my birthday as an excuse.

This years BBQ was today. After a morning and early afternoon with some heavy showers, it turned out to be a glorious evening. I certainly enjoyed myself, and I hope our guests did too. I reckon we got through over 70 burgers, 90 saussages, 100 rolls, and a litre of melted cholocale in the chocolate fountain. I also have 5 large plastic crates of empty bottles to take to the recycling...

Feeling a little fuzzy round the edges today after going to bed at 3:30am, but not too bad. We've managed to get most of the clearing up done in a couple of hours, so after taking the recycling to the tip I think we'll just hang out for the rest of the day...
