Andrew Lawrence

Tonight was the first night Pleasance was open for the 2010 festival, so as is tradition we went along... I also blipped this occasion in verse in 2008, and in ghostly form in 2009.

We went to see Andrew Lawrence, a performer we have enjoyed for the last couple of years and who is pictured here. We were in Pleasance Cabaret Bar and it was pretty crowded and I was sat on an uncomfortable stool. I don't know if that is affecting my judgement, but I thought the show was weak this year. Too much time poking fun at easy targets and not much in the way of originality.

The others (including MrsCyclops and 77) got free tickets for another show, but I'm exhausted so I'm off to bed. Unlike the mrs, I have to work tomorrow!
