Turtle at Virgin Cove
Another wonderful day diving with MrsCyclops courtesy of Eastern Caribbean Diving.
This morning we were at Virgin Cove, accompanied by a videographer making a promotional video for the St Lucia Tourist Board. There was a little swell rolling in, and at the start of the dive the visibility was poor so after faffing for a while the videographer binned the dive without telling us. So after a small delay while our guide searched for him and found he was back on the boat, we set off.
As soon as we got on to the main reef visibility cleared right up and we had a lovely dive, with lots of fish, corals and sponges. We saw some bit French Angelfish and some crabs too. I'm torn between blipping the two highlights though... Several times we saw groups of cuttlefish - such alien creatures but so pretty. Toward the end we saw our second Turtle of the trip. So I'm blipping a Turtle for the second day running partly because they are amongst my favourite things to see underwater and partly because my photo of the turtle came out better than my photos of cuttlefish!
