SHOPPING IN THE PARK...

I didn't venture very far from home today - I accompanied my mum to our local park, where, on every third Saturday in the month, there is a farmers' market. It's not a very big market, but you can buy plants, herbs, vegetables, olives, Portuguese pastries, English wines and cordials, cakes, bread and meat.

My mum bought a leg of lamb, some lamb and pork chops, as well as pork shoulder.

Later on in the afternoon, my dad and I went shopping. We were looking for CDs for his birthday. We had a successful trip, as we found two that he liked.
