Flowing to the sea

A right pet of a day, that's what it was today, and it certainly encouraged a bit of a serious walk. So in to town I strolled, not really having set out to do that to begin with, but putting one foot in front of the other until eventually there was no point doing anything else but keep going.

I walked along the river a bit, and across the Sean O'Casey Bridge, where I stopped to take this shot looking towards the Samuel Beckett Bridge and on towards the mouth of the Liffey (it's virtually the opposite view to this one from last month).

Feeling chuffed with myself because of the seriousness of the walk, I paused in Madigans in Abbey Street for a bit of refreshment before catching the bus back home.

The rest of the day was spent recovering.
