Set for a thaw

My mate Derek sent me a link to an excellent weather forecast site which I checked constantly during the cold spell. Despite being based in far-away Norway, its predictions have proved much more accurate than forecasts from Met Éireann's.

It's been fascinating to watch the live updating and to see how things change, unfortunately during the past few days only on the basis of a promised rise in temperature failing to materialise. Today, though, for the first time, the line turned red all the way across the display. Yippee!

In terms of my social calendar, the timing could not be better, since I'm due for one of my Chew & Chat sessions on the 10th and to host the music session on the 11th.
