Two Home Wins
Another lazy, sporting, point-the-camera-at-the-TV blip, I'm afraid, but that's because the weather wasn't all that great today (overcast for the most part - at least until late afternoon), and I watched both the Men's Final from Wimbledon and recorded highlights of the German Grand Prix.
Andy Murray was magnificent and fully deserved his straight-sets win to become the first British winner of the Men's Championships in 77 years. Naturally enough, the home crowd went wild.
It was a first-time home win for Sebastian Vettel in the Grand Prix too. Kimi Raikkonen gave him a decent run for his money over the final couple of laps, but Seb hung on to take the flag just over as second ahead.
That was the day, more or less. Very lazy, spent in front of the box, with not even one's nose stuck outside. I'll make up for it tomorrow.
