Five Star

I took a notion to get up early and watch the Japanese Grand Prix live. I told myself I'd only do it if I was already awake at 7:00 am, but set the alarm anyway. The old body clock kicked in, and I was wide-eyed by 6:30, so down I went and plopped myself down in front of the TV.

There was an outside chance that Sebastian Vettel could win the Drivers Championship today, but Fernando Alonso finished 4th and so kept the championship alive despite Vettel's fifth win in a row. It was an okay race, with some good overtaking despite the narrowness of the track, but the main news was the podium finish for Romain Grosjean, who's really re-inventred himself this season.

I went back to talk to my pillow as soon as the race finished, and did the bus-in-to-town thing later on, again playing with the re-found X20. I didn't get very far and take many shots, though. This was the first I took, almost immediately after getting off the bus in Talbot Street. This building fascinates me whenever I pass by, but this is the first time I've pointed a camera at it.

It wasn't long before I felt the need for my bed again, so I soon turned tail and made my way home.
