Car park shadows

Next-door neighbour Susan has been very good in terms of keeping me entertained and fed and watered whenever I drop in for a chat, and I thought it high time to return the compliment., so issued an invitation for tonight.

Actually, Susan wasn't going to be there. Instead, her children (two out of four, at least) and a son-in-law happily took up the invite. Before heading out to get in some more food and drink I popped up to Beaumont Hospital for a blood test (needed for my next appointment with the oncologist which is due on the 13th). It was a fine, sunny morning, which I took advantage of with this blip of the hospital car park, where the sun and the shadows and the parking markings were doing fine things.

Shopping after that, both in town and locally, and then I ran around the house tidying and cleaning. All was in readiness when the guests arrived around 9:00 pm. We had a great time together, continuing on from last night in terms of chatting and joking and laughing and world-problem-solving and eating and drinking. We lost Alison around 11:30, but we three remaining had no difficulty filling the time until the next-door neighbours went back next door at 3:30 am.

Another full day.
