Cabinteely

Back to the music group routine today after the Christmas break. That said, it wasn't the regular routine, since our host had decided to entertain members and hangers-on after the music, which means it was to be a bit of a party.

We met in the apartment where Carl and I dropped in for a New Year visit only a few days previous, which is on the top floor of one of the blocks in this very attractive apartment complex. It's Brennanstown, in Cabinteely, south of Dublin. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, and the prospect from Dermot's apartment is really impressive.

Music finished shortly after 3:00 due to low numbers from the group, and then Carl and a few others joined us for a sit-down meal (we'd only expected bubbles and nibbles, so a sit-downer was a nice surprise). As has been the norm this Christmas and new year, we had a great time, with chat and laughter and music and food and drink until some time around 9:00 pm when I got a lift home.
