Air-time!

Crazy day, but great one. Missy decided that 4.45 was playtime, sleep over with. I managed to convince her that playing in my room until 6 was acceptable, so I vegged out a while longer at least! We wanted to get up and out anyway, so I didn't mind too much.
We set off after some breakfast and headed to Scarborough for second breakfast and a play with Granny, Grandad, Uncle Simon and Alicia. Katie was extremely pleased.
We went out with Uncle Simon and Alicia, and walked down to the beach. Katie had a blast running around the beach, chasing dogs, balls and Simon. She had a lot of fun 'flying' too. I reckon I can chalk up Katie's first freefall times from these flyings (certainly more than I got on my first freefall) We then walked back home, Katie walked up a VERY big hill up the cliff. We stopped off at a gorgeous, quaint little tea room for a quick drink.
From Scarborough we headed back to meet Ava and her mummy before skating. The girls were so delighted to see each other. Katie was a much happier bunny at skating this week, it was lovely to see her excitedly running towards the rink again- last time she was teething badly and was generally a sad little lady. Today, however, she was very content. She kept wanting to be wherever Ava was, holding her hands out and calling 'bobbins'. She made me laugh after the class, we were chatting with friends and I said 'shall we go?' and she said 'yes, car. byebye'. So we went.
