Eric and his cleaning machine

Meticulously groomed as always, Eric drives around mounted on this machine and cleans the floors. He must drive many hundreds of miles on this every year.

I have noticed recently (but haven't talked to Eric about it) that often the machine will leave a narrow trail of water behind as it navigates the corridors. In a curious mixture of old and new technology, the operator of this machine has to awkwardly drag the mob behind to mop it up.

It does remind me of the Zamboni machine dance at the breaks between periods in every ice hockey game.
