These are the ruins of Chedi Luang, a buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It fell apart after an earthquake in 1545 or by cannon fire in 1775, quite possibly by both. It has been partially restored in the 1990s. The yellow flag is Dharmacakra flag, a symbol of Buddhism in Thailand.
