A Revolution in the hills.
The sky was looking promising this evening, for a colourful sunset. So headed on a long uphill slog to reach a ridge with a view to Dingwall, Ben Wyvis, and various hills to the West. There were a few small patches of orange and pink about, but the predominant colour (and atmosphere) was grey. I went for an easy option that was lying behind me - my (fairly) trusty stead.
Many birds singing away at dusk, and bats hunting above the road at the edge of some woodland. Plus a long descent to return home. All things to lift the spirits.
