House Construction 15--Union St.

We left NYC at noon in a rented car, and (with rain along the way) arrived back in Northampton MA by 3:30 pm.

After one thing and another I walked back to our Union Street address. This is the view, from across the street. It's important to compare it with this view, of the original condominium. In my blips last fall I barely mentioned that the family who acquired our condominium (2nd and 3rd floors) found that the front part of the building was unstable. They have torn it down, and are now rebuilding, as you see here.

It's now evening, we're jet-lagged. We flew from Paris on Monday--more in the next few days, including tomorrow a blip of the new house (out of sight behind this view), which we will move into this month.
