A Sad Tail

As the result of an altercation yesterday Hazel sustained an injury to his tail which required the ministrations of the vet and a couple of prescriptions. Consequently I spent the afternoon making soothing noises and covered in cat hair instead of taking interesting photos for blip. (Can't blip the tail, he's very sensitive about it.)

Instead here's a photo some blossom in the garden.

I have no idea what it is, it was self-set, though it looks a bit like plum. I don't know if it is worth keeping. Perhaps someone out there can tell me more about it (the bit of fence is about 3.5 inches wide).
