Easter Egg rolling

This afternoon we went to my mum and dad's house for a family barbeque. An Easter Egg hunt around the garden was a big success, and much chocolate was exchanged and eaten. This resulted in the children not eating very much of the BBQ food because they were full from all the chocolate!

After dinner we went to the hill next to mum and dad's house with our hard boiled eggs and did the annual egg rolling. It was great fun. Kerr threw his egg against the fence at the top of the hill, so his was smashed before it got a chance to roll at all. Lucy did very well and rolled hers almost all the way down before accidentally standing on it and completely squashing it!

It wasn't quite as warm as we anticipated so kerrsdaddy had to squeeze into my dad's gilet to keep warm. Kerr seems to be very hardy and refused to wear any sort of jacket.

We now have enough chocolate in the house to last a lifetime. Although I reckon it will probably all be demolished in a week.
