Busy Little Gnome

It appears this little gnome, who guards the flower box, got busy and planted a surprise today! Arriving home at dusk, he welcomed me in all sincerity, but would not tell what he had planted. I'll make every effort to see if my contraptioneer could get it out of him, when he gets home. I've heard that gnomes can really keep a secret, though. Just look at you all stone faced, without a hint of a clue in their eyes.
